Bluegill live in the shallow waters of many lakes and ponds, along with slow-moving areas of streams and small rivers. They usually hide around, and inside, old tree stumps and other underwater structures. Bluegills are popular panfish, and are easy to catch because they will eat so many different things such as worms or crickets, bread, or even a bare hook.
